The summer heat has me dreaming of cooler weather, which always has me thinking about the Holidays. It’s time to spread some Christmas and holiday cheer in July with the Christmas in July Holiday Decor Blog Hop! This blog hop is filled with 31 free crochet patterns all themed for the holidays! All of them are perfect for getting ahead on your Christmas decor making or even for some gifts.

How does it work?

If you’ve never done one of my blog hops before, you might be wondering how it works. It’s easy! Think of this blog hop as one giant scavenger hunt where you get to discover a bunch of new crochet designers and get free patterns. With it being done this way, you help out all of use designers grow our businesses. We help each other out! It’s such a fun experience!

Here’s how it works:

Each day I post a new pattern that will be available as a FREE PDF download from 8am PST that day till 8am PST the next day.
You’ll scroll down to the photo of the pattern, and follow the instructions below the photo about how to download it.
There will be a link that will take you to the designer’s post where you’ll get the link to Ravelry.
Once you get to Ravelry, use the code listed in my post at checkout for the pattern and get it for FREE!

    Yes, tried the download button. Stated it was previously used. Tried going through Ravelry and it stated the code was invalid. Went to Esty wilt the same error message. Nothing seem to work.

Ditto, when it comes up with the Llamma screen it says coupon code has already been redeemed – even when it hasn’t – and then when you add it to cart and try to add coupon there it says it’s an invalid coupon code. 🥺*meep* 😟

    Yes, that’s what I meant by the Llama page. But it comes up with the coupon code spot, while unusual it’s not unheard of, and then when you enter the code – I’ve both copy&pasted as well as typed it in myself – and press the redeem button it says code has already been redeemed. But I haven’t been able to get to any of the blog hops till recently because of health issues, and when I double checked I have not ‘bought that pattern on Ravelry.
    That’s why the ask for help, cause I don’t know what else to do.

Day 5 Stocking from Lopsided Crafter – It is 12:10 am EST, July 6th (9:10 pm, July 5th PST) and the code says it’s expired. Am I reading something incorrectly?
I tried both the redeemable coupon on her website, I also went directly to ravelry, both said coupon was expired. It’s day 5 and there’s already been at least two days with issues. I hope there’s more of a response than the canned auto-reply to the last problem. I also left a message at The Lopsided Crafter.

  It’s been like this on several of the patterns. No response from creators or E’Claire. Blog Hops are already hard to navigate through, but when nothing works it’s just not worth it to do anything.

    Hi, I am sorry for not responding to each message. I have been getting a lot of messages that I have had to sort through. Ravelry has not been cooperating, and the designers and I are doing our best to fix the issues. Unfortunately, sometimes I can’t reach the designers in a timely manner, and I have no control over it. For the day 5 pattern, I did ask the designer to extend the coupon code. I apologize if she did not do that. I am trying my best here, and with running this business by myself while also having an 11 month old who has health issues, sometimes I can’t respond to each message. Apologies again, and I will try to respond better in the future.

Retro stocking code HolidayDecor expired early. Supposed to be good through the 6th at 8am PST. It’s currently 10:33pm July 5th but the code is expired.
Had the same issue with other patterns above but have been so busy I didn’t have time to message anyone.
Really frustrating that this blog hop isn’t working this time. Hope everything gets fixed and would be nice if the first 5 designers extended the coupon side so we can redeem it.

Why was the code removed for Day 8 when the time isn’t up yet. Tried the regular code for it and it won’t take it. The website for Ollie directs you to here to get the code until 8am on the 9th.

To everyone having issues with the code on July 9th (me included): this is an issue that Ravelry encounters sometimes. The solution I have found is to purchase the pattern signed out of Ravelry. Then you can add the pattern to your library from the purchase screen by logging back in. This works for me 100 percent of the time. Best of luck!

RE: Day 9 Ellie the Elf — I think part of the problem is using the same code for the same store 2 days in a row – the error message is: “This coupon has already been redeemed HOLIDAYDECOR try again”

First couple tries, the coupon code simply didn’t change the price, then it went to “already redeemed”. Wondering if Kat is correct that a different code for the second item will be necessary. Maybe that’s why it works if you didn’t use it yesterday?

I totally agree with Kat and Susan. The code is just sitting there and not changing my total, which is what tends to happen when it is a good coupon, but you have already used it and cannot use it a second time, but it is not expired. I think it needs to be a different code if it is the same store or Ravelry may not honor it. Their algorithims are getting confused. Are we going to miss out on getting Ellie because we got Ollie now? Because when I try to buy it when I am logged out, it won’t go to the purchase page….

So, I went in to Facebook group and there was a link for a different pattern. I followed that, git back to the blog hop …there was day 24!
Code is SNOWBOUND.
